Due to its proximity to Jackson and Milan, Medina is one of the fastest growing towns in West Tennessee. It is located about 10 minutes northeast of Jackson, Tennessee in Gibson County. Medina has great schools, wonderful churches and an atmosphere conducive to raising strong, healthy families.  Medina is a smaller town of about 3,000, but over that past couple of years, has experienced a "growth boom" like never before!

 

The Medina School System is wonderful, which makes raising children in Medina a plus. The town boasts an elementary school and a middle school - both state-of-the-arts schools are part of the Gibson County School System. The new South Gibson High School was added in 2009. Besides the wonderful people in Medina, you will also find much lower tax rates than the larger cities, yet we still offer the same, great services you would expect in the larger cities. Because of the smaller government, your tax dollars go further.

 

The downtown section still boasts of Medina's historical roots as the sprawling country side is being developed by quality builders. With a wedding chapel and wedding parlor (both housed in restored vintage buildings) and several churches, Medina is fast becoming the "wedding capital" of Gibson County. The town is primed for growth in the retail and service industries.

Medina is the home of West Tennessee's famous "Haunted Farm," a Halloween activity sponsored by the local Lions Club. Medina also celebrates the 4th of July with many activities, and Christmas with a parade.
